Am I eligible for treatment?
Eligibility is a clinical decision. A licensed provider reviews your full health history, current medications, and goals to determine whether treatment is appropriate and safe for you. Not everyone qualifies, and that is by design.
Do I need a prescription?
Yes. These are prescription medications. A licensed, independent provider must review your case and write a prescription before any medication is prepared. There is no way around this, and that is exactly how it should be.
Do I have to visit an office?
No. The entire process is online, from your medical intake to provider review to your medication arriving at your door. Care is available across all 50 states through a licensed physician network.
How long does it take to start?
After provider approval, pharmacy processing typically takes 1 to 2 business days. Shipping transit generally takes another 2 to 3 business days, so most first orders arrive within 3 to 5 business days after approval. Timing may vary by pharmacy workload, location, holidays, and carrier conditions.

What medications does KERNX offer?
KERNX offers physician prescribed compounded Semaglutide, as an injection or oral tablets, and compounded Tirzepatide. Both are part of a class of medications that works with your body's appetite and metabolic signaling.
Is compounding regulated and safe?
When treatment is approved and a prescription is issued, prescriptions coordinated through KERNX Health are fulfilled through the licensed dispensing pharmacy identified in your treatment and fulfillment information. A valid prescription from a licensed provider is required. Compounded medications are not FDA approved and are not reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality before marketing.
What side effects should I expect?
The most common side effects are gastrointestinal, such as nausea or reduced appetite, and are usually mild to moderate. They tend to ease as your body adjusts, especially with gradual dosing. Your care team helps you manage them.
Why is KERNX more affordable than brand name options?
Compounded medications combined with a direct to patient model remove much of the overhead built into traditional clinics, which allows KERNX to offer care at a fraction of the typical cost.
Pricing and ongoing care
What does it cost?
The online health assessment is free. KERNX does not collect payment for treatment before provider approval. Your bank or card issuer may display a temporary authorization hold during sign up, but this is not a completed KERNX charge. There is no separate consultation fee. Medication and any selected add ons are processed only after a provider approves treatment and you accept the plan. All applicable costs are shown before you commit. Cancel anytime.
Is insurance involved?
No. KERNX operates outside the insurance system. You pay the disclosed monthly plan rate, with all applicable costs shown before you commit.
What happens after I start?
Your care does not end at the first shipment. Your care team remains available for questions, dose adjustments, and check ins as your body responds throughout your treatment.
What if treatment is not right for me?
If your provider determines treatment is not appropriate, they will tell you. KERNX would rather decline a case than prescribe something that is not in your interest.
Do you offer health coaching?
Yes, and it is included in your monthly plan at no extra cost. A health coach checks in with you once a month, or twice a month when you need more support. Coaching works alongside your licensed clinicians and care team. You can message your care team throughout treatment, and your provider reviews your progress at monthly check ins.
Is lab testing included in my plan?
Provider ordered lab testing is included in your second month of care at no additional charge. Testing is not required for every patient and is ordered only when clinically appropriate. If further testing is recommended after month 2, the cost is shown before you proceed and you may use your own provider or lab.
